Proto Received: 16 September 2021 Accepted: two October 2021 Published: six OctoberAbstract: Timber harvesting, specially motor-manual SCH-23390 Description felling, in Croatia, as in many other nations, is one of the most hazardous economic activities. Consequently, the aim of this paper should be to analyse and evaluate the latest trends and threat variables connected to the incidence of work-induced injuries in structural organization units of TMRM web national forest enterprise. A combined strategy of literature overview and assembled secondary information was applied to collect data on workplace accidents over the years 2014020. Work-induced injuries data were drawn from the records of your national enterprise Croatian Forests Ltd. which manages state forests (76 of total forest region). A total of 1626 workinduced injuries have been processed and entered into the database. Information evaluation was performed applying statistical and descriptive solutions. Study results have confirmed a substantial difference within the injury price more than the years 2014020 in the Croatian forest enterprise. During the analysed period the highest quantity of workplace accidents (51.35 of all recorded workplace accidents) occurred through the forest harvesting phase, i.e., in the course of motor-manual felling. Trends in the incidence of work-induced injuries within the observed period do not show any significant improvement. The crucial findings have pointed out that forest administrations which practice even-aged forest management have 25 or additional injuries than forest administrations which practice selective forest management. Associated to the average rate of change by forest administration, the largest annual raise or lower of your selected security indicators is recorded for smallest forest administrations. Associated to total variety of injuries, the smallest forest administrations have the least injuries and show statistically significant distinction in comparison to significant forest administrations. When comparing the amount of injuries per 1000 workers, medium sized forest administrations have the highest worth of indicator and show statistical significance. Discussion and conclusion in the paper emphasizes the need for systematic investigation in the field of ergonomy, safety and health of forest workers in Croatian forestry sector. Additionally, the improvement and inclusion of proactive security culture is recognized as a mechanism that can additional lower work injuries and increase occupational safety which really should possess a substantial role in the course of action of certification of forest management based on the FSC regular.
